Fernando Vela González, sworn translator for the English language appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2010 registered with the number 7764
Details of terms and conditions for sworn translations can be found below.
1. Information
Handled by an expert translator, accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, a sworn translation is certified to be equivalent to the original source document. Called a “sworn translation” or a “certified translation”, once the translation is completed, it has the same legal value as an official document in the eyes of the Justice Department and Spanish or foreign administrative authorities.
In order to obtain the mention “translation certified to be conforming to the original”, a sworn translation must always be accompanied by a unique registration number, a stamp, the date and the signature of the sworn translator. A sworn translation can be requested for a number of types of documents: civil acts, scholarly, legal, administrative, work , sales, transportation, or even technical documents.
If you need a sworn translation of a document and would like to get a free quote, send the scanned documents in electronic format (see the section “Delivery”) to the following e-mail address: fer@ferna.eu.
The more information you provide to the sworn translator, the better will be the translation. If possible, mention the country and the authority you need the translation for: an academic institution, a government authority for the processing of visas or the recognition of qualifications, et.
2. Rates
The rate applied will be EUR 0,10 per word, with a minimum rate of 50 €.
Ask for a non-bindung quote for any document (birth certificates, academic qualifications, academic certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, criminal records, identity cards, visas, adoption documents, court judgements, judicial rulements, powers of attorney, expert reports, articles of association, statutes, contracts, patents, etc.).
Note: all rates include VAT (IVA). Quotes include postage for Spain and the European Union.
